Activity 7.1. Participation of population issues regarding urban water
Integration of a participatory approach in the implementation of a system for the integrated management of transboundary waters, including: identification of stakeholders and the nature of their interests, focus groups with local actors, proposed a strategy that implements the principle of management subsidiary of transboundary waters. Development of guidelines for a common system of integrated management of transboundary waters, including: a) proposal for a more efficient monitoring of surface and groundwater quantity and quality, b) interventions for the prevention of hydrological risks and strategies of intervention systems joint in emergency situations, c) proposal and implementation of interventions for improving the quality of a water d) a proposal for a more efficient protection of the groundwater aquifer Vrtojba e) proposal for the use of the aquifer to decrease the energy consumption f) proposal for reuse of wastewater and sewage sludge; g) a proposal for a common solution and integrated environmental issues identified and the use of best available technologies.
