Title of activity 3.1. Data base of existing hydrological data cross-border

Collection of existing public data (precipitation, runoff water and the Horn Vrtojbica and other data) to assess the hydrological balance of the basins in question. Create a database hydrological common. Implementation of GIS common river basins on the basis of publicly available data. Organization of meetings for the transfer of knowledge and common work on this activity (thematic meetings between experts).

Activity 3.2. Monitoring hydrological basins and the Horn of Vrtojbica

Verification of existing hydrological monitoring system. Suggestions for improvement and optimization of the monitoring system. Optimization and installation of additional and more ù efficient and hydrometric stations pluviografiche and connecting with a more efficient system of notification of Civil Protection. Implementation of the hydrological monitoring, maintenance of measuring stations, the data collection. Organization of meetings for the transfer of acquired conoscence and common work on this activity (thematic meetings between experts).

Activity 3.3 Evaluation of the hydrological risk for both the urban areas of the border.

Calculation of water balance and hydraulic . Statistical evaluation of the data for the determination of the maximum outflows in order to predict possible floods. Assessment of the possible consequences of their proposal and resolution. Strategies for joint intervention systems in emergency situations.
