Activities
The City manages and carries out independently, under the Constitution and the law, the business of public interest that relate to the population of the municipality, in addition to the national competence, delegated to the municipality by law. In addition to these activities, the Municipality is also in charge of designing territorial development, and approve local acts, it is the body responsible for the protection of air, soil, water, protection from noise pollution, the collection and deposition waste, maintenance and refurbishment of public roads local surface pedestrian and cycling, public parking, parks, squares and other public surfaces and traffic management on the territory of the Municipality. The City prepares its own territory programs of environmental protection, nurturing, and promoting environmental protection through appropriate measures. The City has a sufficient number of qualified personnel in the field of environmental protection and the appropriate personnel to manage the financial side of the project.
