How to use the TDB/TCM files
in Thermo-Calc Classic / PANDAT

Thermo-Calc Classic


TDB files

1. Download the TDB file from the database

2. Start Thermo-Calc and follow the commands below:

   SYS:GO DATA
   SYS:SW USER XXXX.TDB        <---  Put the file name downloaded
   TDB_USER:DEF-SYS XX XX      <---  Define elements
   TDB_USER:GET

TCM files (Only for calculations in Thermo-Calc)

1. Download the TCM file from the database

2. Start Thermo-Calc and follow the commands below:

   SYS:MACRO XXXX.TCM     <---  Put the file name downloaded


TCM files (Macro file) run automatically.

PANDAT


TDB files

1. Download the TDB file from the database

2. Start PANDAT

3. Click "DB" icon in the menu bar

4. Choose the TDB file
